THE BUILDING PROCESS

Lot Selection

If required, land acquisition assistance can be provided. We will help you search the communities you desire to obtain that perfect piece of land. A meeting on-site at purchased or prospective land is held to discuss building options to optimize and compliment the space.

Architectural Design

Elevation Homes and Design has a key group of trusted and experienced architects and designers that specialize in design concepts that range from contemporary to traditional. An appropriate design specialist will be suggested based on each client’s personal vision. If you have already had your plans designed, Elevation Homes and Design will review your plans with you and offer suggestions where required.

Budget Forecast

Prior to starting your build, we provide you with a budget for your home. We will work with you to solidify the investments and to ensure that the build will meet your expectations within your set budget. A transparent building process is maintained throughout the build. You will be provided with a monthly ledger detailing expenditures that you may have chosen to add or delete during the build.

Construction Phase

Site supervisors and project managers work closely with the clients on a day-to- day basis. They are responsible for site safety, scheduling of trades, ordering supplies, and addressing client questions and concerns. We are currently implementing “Builder Trend” software which allows our clients access to their home 24/7 via the internet. This software adds a layer of communication which you can use even if out of the country.

Project Completion

Upon completion, deficiencies will be addressed in a prompt manor. Your satisfaction and the security of your investment is the largest priority for our company. The warranty program that Elevation Homes and Design offers is a 2 year builder warranty along with a 10 year structural warranty through National Home Warranty. On-going service and support will be provided as needed within these time frames.

Elevation Homes and Design is a company committed to the satisfaction and well being of our clients. As such, we offer a Two Year Builder’s Warranty on all new builds and renovations. Although a warranty of such long duration is rare in our industry, we believe that our integrity is measured by our willingness to stand behind our product, reaffirming that we are committed to your long term satisfaction.

Our affiliation with National Home Warranty Program is another way we seek to protect our client’s interests. National Home Warranty Program offers the most comprehensive coverage on the market which includes:

  • In the first year, Defects in materials and labour
  • In the first 2 years, Defects in materials and labour related to Delivery and Distribution Systems
  • In the first 5 years, Defects in the Building Envelope
  • In the first 10 years, Structural Defects
